JOSHUA LAGAS

Josh hails from Southeast Texas, where he was born and raised, and has harbored a lifelong passion for hunting. He began guiding at the age of 16, which further ignited his love for the sport. After high school, Josh pursued college baseball while continuing to guide part-time. Subsequently, he obtained his real estate license.

While balancing his real estate career, Josh kept guiding part-time and started selling hunts on his own. As demand grew and past clients kept coming back, he realized this was more than just a hobby. He decided to prioritize this niche, turning it into a full-time business, which led to the founding of Ace Outfitters.

Since its inception, Ace Outfitters has evolved into a comprehensive service for exotic wildlife. The company offers private sales, consulting, darting, helicopter capture, trapping, hauling, stocking, and hunts. Additionally, Ace Outfitters breeds over twenty species of exotic animals.

Josh also owns and operates Huntsville Exotic Sale and T.O Global Wildlife Exchange. His dedication and hard work have been pivotal in the evolution of Ace Outfitters. His unparalleled work ethic and drive have been instrumental in the company's success. Josh proudly says, "Ace Outfitters has grown beyond any of our wildest dreams, and we are so grateful for every single person that chooses us to fulfill their needs."

CALEB UHEREK

Caleb’s passion for hunting was kindled at a young age while sitting in the deer stand with his grandfather. Over the past 18 years, this passion has only grown stronger. At 16, Caleb began guiding white-tail bow hunts, marking the start of his dedication to guiding. His knowledge of deer expanded significantly from countless hours spent observing them in the stand.

Several years later, Caleb joined Ace Outfitters, an opportunity that has proven to be invaluable. Known as the best right-hand man, Caleb’s expertise and care for the animals he handles—whether in the field during captures or at Huntsville Exotic Sale—make him an indispensable member of the Ace Team.

As the youngest member of the Ace Team, Kayden's "take the bull by the horns" attitude is a significant asset. He reflects, "As a kid, I always wondered what I would do when I grew up and faced life's challenges. Days like today remind me how incredibly blessed I am to live this life. From capturing deer and transporting them to their new homes, to proudly holding this giant in my hands, I couldn't be more thankful. While he may appear to be just a dog to some, Ace is an invaluable member of Ace Outfitters. This Bavarian Mountain Scent Hound has performed extraordinary feats in the deer tracking industry. Together, Ace and Josh have journeyed across states and even ventured to different countries for their work, showcasing the profound bond they share. Beyond his impressive tracking abilities, Ace has a penchant for back rubs and a fondness for leftovers, adding a touch of charm to his remarkable skill set.
